What are we teaching our children about marriage?

Heavenly Father, we come before You today as couples, with hearts open and spirits humble, seeking Your divine wisdom and guidance. We acknowledge the sacred covenant of marriage You have established, and we thank You for entrusting us with the precious gift of children. Lord, we pause to reflect on the profound question: 'What are we truly teaching our children about marriage?' We pray for clarity, for discernment, and for the grace to be living epistles of Your love and commitment within our homes. Help us, O God, to model patience, forgiveness, respect, and unwavering love, so that our children may witness a reflection of Your covenant faithfulness in our daily walk as husband and wife. We ask, Merciful Father, that You would strengthen our bonds, heal any hurts, and rekindle the flames of our first love. Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to live out our vows not just…

We are here to learn together, pray together, encourage one another, and build stronger relationships rooted in faith and unity.

Thank you for helping us create a community where love, respect, encouragement, and purpose remain at the center.

Growing Together and Not Just Growing Older

🙏 A prayer that touched my heart:

Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude for the sacred institution of marriage, a covenant You designed to reflect Your divine love and unity. I lift up all married couples, and I pray specifically that You would empower them to grow together in spirit, in understanding, and in unwavering love, rather than simply growing older side by side. Lord, I ask that You would rekindle the flames of passion, deepen the roots of commitment, and strengthen the bonds of friendship within each union. Help spouses to truly see one another, to listen with open hearts, and to extend grace and forgiveness as You have extended it to us. May Your Holy Spirit be the constant guide in their homes, teaching them patience, kindness, and selfless devotion. I pray for renewed vision for their shared future, for common…

Pillow Talk Episode 4: What's Something You've Never Told Me?

Every marriage is built on communication, but not every conversation comes easily.

Some thoughts remain unspoken. Some feelings stay buried. Some fears, disappointments, dreams, and insecurities never quite make it past our lips. Sometimes we remain silent because we fear being misunderstood. Other times, we worry that our honesty may hurt the person we love. And occasionally, we convince ourselves that certain things are simply better left unsaid.

In this episode of Pillow Talk, we explore a question that has the power to deepen intimacy, strengthen trust, and create greater understanding between spouses:

What's something you've never told me?

The Weight of Unspoken Words

Every relationship contains conversations that have not yet happened.

Pillow Talk Episode 3: Are We Growing Together or Just Growing Older?

One of the greatest misconceptions about marriage is that time automatically produces closeness. While years may increase familiarity, they do not necessarily increase connection. Couples can share the same home, raise the same children, attend the same church, and celebrate the same anniversaries while quietly drifting apart.

The reality is that growing older together is inevitable. Growing together is intentional.

In this episode of Pillow Talk, we ask a question that every couple should revisit regularly:

Are we growing together or just growing older?

Growth Doesn't Happen by Accident

When most couples first fall in love, growth feels natural. There is excitement, curiosity, and a desire to learn everything about one another. Conversations are frequent. Dreams are shared. Time together is a priority.

Our Wholeness Begins in Christ

Read Colossians 2:10 aloud.

“And ye are complete in him…”

Being complete in Christ does not mean we never struggle. It means our fundamental identity and worth come from our relationship with Christ rather than from another person’s approval.

Rekindle the Flame

🙏 Heavenly Father, I come before You today, lifting up this precious couple who seek to rekindle the flame of their initial love. Lord, in the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy for the beautiful memories and the deep affection that first drew us together to become overshadowed. I pray, O God, that You would gently lead their hearts back to those cherished moments, to the laughter, the shared dreams, and the profound connection that made them fall deeply in love. Help them to remember the unique qualities they admired in one another, the strengths they celebrated, and the comfort they found in each other's presence.

Gracious God, I ask that You open their eyes and hearts anew to see each other through Your loving gaze. Remind them of the covenant they made before You, and the sacred bond You have blessed. May Your Holy Spirit stir within them…
